After seeing some amazing runway shows during New York Fashion Week, we grabbed our camera + beautiful Sarah Rodeberg to wander and explore the city for a NYC street style photo adventure.

Although we visit the city multiple times per year, for trade shows or just for fun, I found myself looking at the city in a whole new way when scoping out great spots to take photos.  I realized that pretty everywhere makes for a great photo in NYC!  From the quintessential water tower backdrop for the shots we took out on the hotel balcony, to a random brilliant fuchsia painted wall and railing nestled among the brick buildings, to all the reflective surfaces and wrought iron around the city, to an old school pay phone (yes it still works) - there was so much color, texture, and character everywhere we explored.

We do a lot of beach and natural backdrops for our Criscara photo shoots so it was a lot of fun using the beautiful streets of NY as our backdrop. Especially for Jeremy after spending so much time photographing the NY cityscapes for his Photographing NYC book.  I think there are many more cityscape Criscara shoots in our future. Fun times!
