Wildflower - Criscara Spring 20 Jewelry Collection
"Spring is a reminder of how beautiful change can be."
To me, Spring has always signified new beginnings. Transition. Moving from one season to another (literally and figuratively). A fresh start. A time where anything feels possible and there is so much to look forward to. A time for color and flowers and all things beautiful.
These were the things I was thinking of as I designed this new collection, full of colorful tassels and gemstones, floral blooms, and layerable essentials. At the time, I hadn't imagined everything going on in the world right now, all the stress and chaos and uncertainty. I wasn't quite sure what to name the collection because nothing felt quite right, and then I found this quote from Sheryl Crow:
"No matter how chaotic it is, wildflowers will still spring up in the middle of nowhere."
And I immediately knew that Wildflower was the perfect name, because I truly believe that all this chaos and uncertainty will also have its own "season". Things will eventually transition to a new season and provide a fresh start. And that beautiful moments will still spring up in the middle of nowhere.
Things may look different than you thought they would. And that could end up being a beautiful change, even if things feel stressful and challenging now. I hope this new collection helps remind you that this too shall pass and there is always beauty to be found.
