An Interview with Arali West, Founder, Plum Wilde

Tell us about Plum Wilde. 

Plum Wilde is a small brand established in Southern California. We cater towards those who want luxe pieces at a fraction of the cost. All pieces are made here in LA and most are seamless patterns.

Tell us about the person who loves Plum Wilde. What are a few words that describe their style and vibe?

Plum Wilde is a dreamer with a fire for every experience. She is mindful of things bigger than herself; a complex thinker finding freedom through art. She lives a mindful lifestyle that brings her inner peace and happiness. Each piece is designed + manufactured with love in the USA. And we offer free shipping on all US orders.

What is the inspiration for your designs? 

We love simple, minimalist pieces - we have a thing for black and nudes!

Tell us about you. What was your inspiration to start Plum Wilde?  

I'm also a graphic designer and photographer. I've worked with many brands, including well-known swimwear brands. I've gotten very familiar with the process of swim and have always really loved the idea of starting my own brand.

What is your proudest accomplishment to date?

Our first collection was sold to Ross Stores!

Your pictures are beautiful. What is your favorite location to shoot at?

I love to travel. Our first shoot was in Tulum, Mexico. Such a dreamy place, can't wait to go back!

Do you have a favorite quote or mantra you live by?   

I have a list of quotes I save on my phone but here is a fav:
