Up next in our Summer Interview Series is Island Tribe, a "tribe of dreamers, lovers and the wanderlusts", "inspired by the ocean and the elements of life". I can't get enough of their gorgeous collection of lifestyle ready to wear kaftans and cover ups, and bridal dresses and lingerie.

Each of their pieces has such beautiful detailing, with lace and fringe accents that add a romantic and free spirited vibe to the collection. So stunning!

Tell us about Island Tribe.

Island Tribe is a boho lifestyle brand founded in California by designers Angeline Hayling & OD Odero. We are currently based in Miami, Florida. Our Balinese inspired showroom “The Bali Hut” is located a few minutes from Miami’s South Beach. Naturally, many of our design Inspirations are drawn from the ocean and effortless Island lifestyle living.

What is the inspiration for your designs?

Our designs are Inspired by the Ocean and the Elements of life; created with peace, love and blessings for all the free spirited around the world.

Tell us about the person who loves your bridal gowns, kaftans and cover ups.

An Island Tribe Babe is Free Spirited and confident. She believes in living a life that is free from the constraints of trends, society’s expectations and norms.

Do you have a favorite quote or mantra you live by?

There are quite a few that we like, maybe this is not even a mantra, however its gypset. “Not All Who Wander Are Lost”, we have it painted on the walls at our Miami Showroom as an inspiration and motivation to the Tribe.

So, what's coming up next for Island Tribe that you are most excited about?

Growth and expanding our online community. We want to continue building our tribe through community participation and global collaborations. Our dream is to share all these cool vibes allover the world through fashion.
