Next up in our Interview Series we’re chatting with Abask, a bohemian clothing brand with alternative artistic vibes. Featuring free flowing fabrics and beautifully distinct patterns, each limited-edition piece is a unique embodiment of boho living. All of Abask’s pieces are made by hand and 100% vegan, printing using vegetable dyes by artisan communities in India. They create pieces for the stargazers and daydreamers who take the path less traveled and we’ve fallen head over heels for their gorgeous looks!
I hope you enjoy learning more about their brand and their story. XO, Crista

It means basking in sunshine. For me, it also represents surrounding yourself with light and positivity.

My childhood and my hippy mum. She had me when she was 20 and I grew up listening to Bowie, Zeppelin, Joplin and the Stones. She used to make dresses and jewelry and sell them at markets around Europe. We traveled and danced a lot.

A person who loves Abask is someone whose dress sense reflects their personality - the free, the wild and the fun.

I was pregnant with my son, and my creativity was going through the roof. Also watching the news in the evening about the world I was bringing my son into, I wanted to do something where he can see that making a difference is easy. We manufacture only small scale fair trade, handprinted by artisans in India using vegetable dyes.

Definitely earrings. Earrings can be very expressive and compliment an outfit by adding something extra to what you're wearing. I love jewelry as it can glam up a simple outfit.

Lots of pop up's around Europe this summer, and a boutique opening in London.
