Trying to determine what is on someone's Christmas list can be stressful. Leaving some helpful hints or even better, a nice wish list, is a win-win for everyone! You get something you really want and your loved ones save a lot of time and stress, while feeling good knowing you will love their gift.
Many websites have Christmas list makers built in, but if you love products from multiple shops and designers (and who doesn't!) it can be a little overwhelming to create, save, and share so many wishlists.
Enter the Pinterest Christmas List! It is a really simple and FUN way to create and share a single Christmas wish list that has all your favorite products from any number of sites. Save images to Pinterest right from the shops you browse, or have even more fun poking around Pinterest to find all of the amazing Christmas list ideas others have already posted.
If you don’t already have a Pinterest account, go create one. Now you've got your account, let's get started!
Create a new Pinterest Board. Name it something fun like “Gotta Have It”, “Best Products Ever”, “Super Sexy Jewelry I Must Own” (like Nearly Naked jewelry, of course! :D). Or you could always just go with “My Holiday Wish List.” :)
Most websites have Pin It buttons built right into their sites to make it super simple, like the one over there on our Wanderlust Gold Hand Chain page. When you find something you like, just click the button! You can also download a free and really handy pin it button to add to your browser so you can pin any product from any site even if they don’t have a pin it button. A lot of sites will even pull in the product information and pricing to make it even easier for your friends and family.
Build up your Pinterest Christmas List board with all of your must-have jewelry, clothes, accessories, gadgets, cooking tools, and other products and services - either from a variety of different websites or repins of items you find on other Pinterest holiday lists.
This is your wish list so dream big! Mix the practical with the extravagant, and have fun.
Once you have your board built up, it’s time to share it - with your love, your friends, family… anyone who asks you what you want for Christmas.
The easiest way to share your entire board is to copy the url of your board and send it directly via email. If you want to share individual items, you can click on the send button in the upper right corner of any pin.
Or if you want to be a bit more subtle, you could be clever and just so happen to leave your Pinterest wish list up on the computer when you know your husband will see it.
What's that love, did I "accidentally" leave my wish list open on the computer when I knew you would be on it again? Silly me. ;)
Have fun creating your Pinterest Holiday Wish List, and getting what you really want this holiday!
