Criscara was founded in 2013 by husband and wife team Crista Grasso and Jeremy Pollack. Crista designs every piece of Criscara jewelry and Jeremy brings the pieces to life through his gorgeous editorial photography. Each collection is inspired by their passion for creative expression, and their love of travel, antique markets, and vintage textiles.
Originally known for their unique and extensive collection of luxe body chains, foot chains, and hand chains, Criscara now offers a full range of modern bohemian jewelry to take you from farmer's market to resort getaway, and everywhere in between.

criscara blends the name Crista, jewelry designer and founder, and circare, a Latin word meaning to wander & explore. We feel it perfectly embodies the free-spirited and adventurous spirit the criscara brand and jewelry inspires.

Crista has been designing jewelry for as long as she can remember. Always fascinated by vintage jewelry and the treasures she would find while flea-marketing with her Dad or rummaging through her mother’s jewelry box, she continually finds inspiration through her love of travel, fine art, antique markets, ancient architecture, and vintage jewelry and textiles.

If you've ever wondered about the team behind Criscara, we are Crista and Jeremy, husband and wife team, with 2 little furry guys Chewy and Kenobi (who can often be seen crashing our photoshoots).
I design every piece of Criscara jewelry and Jeremy brings the pieces to life through his gorgeous editorial photography. We feel so lucky to collaborate with some amazing models and fashion designers all over the world when creating our lookbooks, and we absolutely love to travel and explore this amazing world (hence the name of our brand Criscara, combining my name with the Latin word circare meaning to wander and explore).
Creativity and artistic expression fuel our souls and we couldn't be happier doing what we love, together. We are super grateful for all of you who make this crazy and unpredictable (but freakin' awesome) journey possible.
